Exchange meeting at Padua Bhagwanpur Dharmankur Bihar in Rangunia


Rangunia Correspondent: Chairman of Sukhbilas Fisheries and Plantation, Central Joint General Secretary of Bangladesh Human Rights Organization and National Award-winning fish farmer Ershad Mahmud visited Sukhbilas Bhagwanpur Dharmankur Bihar in Padua Union of Rangunia Upazila. During this time he exchanged views with the people of the Buddhist community in the area. Teacher Ashok Talukder, President of Bihar Governing Council Rajen Talukder Shiblu, General Secretary of Falahariya Swadwarmalankar Bihar Governing Council Bidhu Mutsuddi, Bangladesh Awami League Mohammad Amin, Titu Barua, Former Vice President Nani Barua, Nayan Barua, addressed the meeting.

Ershad Mahmud said, “Recently, the controversial speech of a Buddhist monk named Sharanankar Thera has created fear, panic, confusion and suspicion among the common people of the area. But in Padua and Rangunia there has always been communalism. No non-communal incident has ever happened here. Everyone must be united to maintain this recent communal. ” Locals in their speeches strongly condemned the statement made by the controversial asylum seeker Ther on Facebook. The monk alleged in the statement that "influential people of the Buddhist community in Padua are being tortured and not allowed to go to the hat bazaar and are not being prevented from practicing their religion independently."

Speaking at the meeting, the Buddhist monk strongly condemned the allegation. The speakers said, "People of all religions, Hindus, Muslims, Buddhists, and Christians, have been living in Rangunia, not in Padua, but in the recent past." The allegations of the Buddhist monks are completely false, rumored, and motivated by motives. The speakers said that the Barua community would not take responsibility for his statement, adding, "It will be entirely his responsibility to explain why he made such a statement." For that, we cannot destroy the Barua community recently.

We will not accept such a despicable attempt to sow the seeds of communalism. ” In the end, financial donations were made to Bihar, and rice was distributed among the poor Buddhist community in the area.
Earlier, he also visited Falahariya Swadwarmalankar Bihar and Bhatapahar Shalban Bihar in Padua Union and exchanged views with the people of the area. During this time he donated Rs. 30,000 in cash to two monasteries and distributed 10 bags of high-quality rice among the poor.
